Abstract

The purpose of this article is to show, as a didactic example, a multicontactual analysis of Juan Rulfo's short stories, through socio-historical and biographical approaches; as well as the study of the thematic and compositional planes; from the treatment of the theme, the characters, the action, the environment, the techniques and resources, in interrelation with the representation technique. This is a necessary and important approach to the literary universe of one of the greatest Latin American narrators.
