Abstract

The article presents the possibilities of using the analgesic ladder in cancer patients. Methodological suggestions are presented on the need to apply the analgesic ladder of cancer pain, especially from the teaching-learning process, since the deficiencies of its use are evident. This is manifested in medical practice when the third step starts with potent opioids, without using possible combinations of non-opiods with weak and coanalgesic options.
