Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide fifth year students of Social Communication, Masters of Political Communication, corresponding to the Master's Degree in Communication Sciences, and other people interested in the subject, with bibliographic material that may be useful for the development of their learning, because it includes an analysis on the role played by José Martí, the Apostle of Cuban independence, in oratory, in which he can be considered a paradigm and how, when the Cuban Revolution triumphed in January 1959, that Marti's oratory registered a reverberation in Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, who stands out as one of the most outstanding figures in that field. Aspects approached as contents in subjects of the study plan of this career.
