A SOCIOLOGICAL CONCEPTION ABOUT MARGINALITY; EDUCATIVE POTENTIALITIES IN THE EDUCATIVE CONTEXT OF SENIOR HIGH

Abstract

El artículo trata sobre el tema de la marginalidad en el trabajo de los educadores condicionado por diferentes factores tanto endógenos como exógenos que obligan a los docentes a mirar de manera holística la formación de sus estudiantes. Se refiere, además, a la proliferación en estas últimas décadas de las diferentes manifestaciones que en su conjunto conforman el fenómeno social marginalidad desde una perspectiva pedagógica con enfoque preventivo-educativo para contribuir al crecimiento personal de nuestros educandos.

ABSTRACT

The issue of marginality has been always discussed from the scope of different social sciences, among which Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology and Criminology, among others have played an important role, but, unfortunately the work of the educators is conditioned by different internal and external factors that force the educators to look at the students' formation in a holistic perspective. The proliferation in this last decade of the different manifestations that conform the social phenomenon of marginality obliges to see the theme from a pedagogical perspective with a preventive-educative approach to contribute to the personal growth of our students.
