Procedure for training on Urban Solid Waste management from a community approach

This article is designed to be deployed in a community space where there is coherence between the different educational institutions. Its objective is to develop a training system for the different knowledge socialization agencies in order to achieve an adequate management of Urban Solid Waste (USW) in the context of community action, with emphasis on two phases of management: pre-collection and treatment. Of the latter, emphasis is placed on controlled landfill and recycling as methods that can be used by the different socializing agencies. The proposal includes general aspects to be considered in the whole process of solid waste management in these two phases, which also includes training as a continuity of the characterization of the current generation system of the community where the study was developed. A procedure structured in stages is proposed, oriented from the three dimensions determined to evaluate its effectiveness in social practice.
