Water saving education for early childhood children: an environmental necessity

Abstract

The environmental problem demands that education be an active process in the preparation of children for the protection of the environment. It should educate them to behave responsibly in the protection of water. This article shows a set of educational actions to promote water saving in early childhood children, taking into account their needs. This is based on the systematization of the philosophical, psychological, sociological and pedagogical foundations updated on the subject, with the use of theoretical and empirical methods. Satisfactory results were obtained in its application, which corroborates the potentialities of the educational process in all its extension for the treatment of the subject.
