Theoretical systematization on communication for the development of the Educational Governance competency

Abstract

The communication process represents the most complete manifestation of human relationships and is evident at different levels in the social life of man. It is through communication that man synthesizes, organizes and elaborates all the human experience and knowledge he acquires as an individual. The objective of this article is to make a theoretical systematization on communication for the development of the competence of Educational Governance. A theoretical approach is made to communication, its definition, functions, communication skills and assertiveness as necessary elements for the development of educational governance competence. Qualitative materials and methods were used for the collection and search of information, as well as for the processing and analysis of the main concepts. The exposed results are part of the task of theoretical systematization on communication, belonging to the Research Project Integral methodological system for the development of educational governance competence, which is developed at the University of Las Tunas, Cuba.
