HUMAN DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIVE CHANGE
Resumen
El artículo refleja los resultados de una investigación realizada por el autor como parte de la preparación de la tesis doctoral. Forma parte además, de un proyecto de investigación científica sobre dirección del aprendizaje de los adolescentes en Secundaria Básica. En la propuesta se establece una relación entre desarrollo humano y desarrollo educacional, y se fundamenta la urgencia de los cambios educativos para los países subdesarrollados. Se valora además, la importancia que tienen los cambios educativos contemporáneos del sistema cubano con el objetivo de dotar a las actuales y futuras generaciones de los medios para enfrentar los retos y proporcionar justicia y equidad.
ABSTRACT
This work reflects the results of an investigation which were carried out by the author as part of the preparation of his doctoral thesis. It is also part of a scientific investigation project about the direction of adolescents learning process in Junior High School. In the proposal was taken into account the different point of view on human development treated by UNESCO, but it is considered that is approach differs depending on each region context and the degree of the concrete historical development under unequal conditions faced by the society. The author establishes relationships between human development and education development and at the same time, states, necessity of educative changes for the underdeveloped countries. It also reflects the importance of the nowadays educative changes of the Cuban system with the objective of providing the present and future generations, the means to face the challenges of justice and equality. The recent results of investigations concerning this theme and their discussion in important international events were also taken into account.
