This research is based on a descriptive quantitative methodology. For its development, 30 heads or managers of businesses in the city of Esmeraldas were surveyed. Likewise, there is evidence of the need for a greater presence in digital media of the enterprises analyzed, as well as a positive correlation between the income of the business and the education of the manager. The author concludes on the need to design training plans for managers regarding business management and digital marketing.
