Didactic principle for the History of Cuba in the multigrade elementary school.

Abstract

This article is the result of research carried out as part of the project "History for teaching and learning". It responds to the criterion of solving the problem related to the insufficiencies in the learning of national and local history of primary schoolchildren in multigrade schools. Its objective is to offer teaching and learning strategies of Cuban History for this type of institution. It includes the evaluation of the implementation of the proposal in a fifth and sixth grade class group of the Zonal Center "Waldemar Díaz de la Rosa" of Majibacoa municipality, in Las Tunas province, with favorable results, both in the teacher's direction and in the level of historical learning of schoolchildren, which includes the appreciation of the practical, individual and social usefulness of historical contents.
