Abstract

One of the most frequent manifestations in students with conduct disorders is the lack of interest in school, an element that has not been sufficiently argued since Special Education. Therefore, a methodology for the formation of school interest is proposed as an objective; this is structured in three stages with procedures that have a compensatory corrective character. The methodology was applied in the school for students with behavioural disorders in the province of Las Tunas, based on the influence of the educational agents as protagonists in the process of the evaluation of the behaviour, which allowed to reach favourable results as for the intrinsic motives towards the school activity of the students with these characteristics. The case studies showed changes in teachers, families, community members, and especially in the modification of students' interest in school and, consequently, in their self-regulated school performance.
