Abstract

The new English language policy demands the need to ensure that non-philological students develop a communicative competence that allows them to express themselves correctly using linguistic resources to strengthen the communication process and satisfactorily certify English language levels. Therefore, it is necessary to contribute to the improvement of the formation and development of communicative competence in English. The objective of this research responds to a didactic principle of foreign languages teaching that refers to the importance of training and developing communication skills from the treatment of each of the dimensions of the communicative competence. This work proposes a didactic tool that benefits the student of non-philological majors at level A2 in the learning of the English language and at the same time allows them to monitor their own learning and develop a communicative competence through self-evaluation as a cognitive process that stimulates the acquisition of communicative skills.
