Abstract

The overcoming and training of the professionals that make up the Cuban Sports System is established as a policy of the National Institute of Sports (INDER) and a concern of the Cuban State. The communication constitutes a decisive aspect in the preparation of this professional, whose mission is to educate the new generations, hence, it is necessary to adopt an epistemic construction about the mode of action of the sports coaches that is in conformity with the current demands. In this sense, the present article is directed, which aims to reflect on the need to communicate effectively, a basic requirement to obtain the desired response and an education in values. Many of the professional failures that are experienced in the context of sports training have their origin in a bad transmission of the message that is wanted to communicate, therefore, improving assertiveness in communication is the first step towards excellence and education.
