The training of the law professional at the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro in Manabí, Ecuador: a view from the environmental professional performance

Abstract

The following article refers to professional performance, based on the transformations that are taking place in Ecuador in the field of Higher Education. Therefore, work must be done to deploy science and technology as factors for the development of society. On this basis, the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí has as its mission, a permanent commitment to the development of scientific and social research. In its vision, it emphasizes the training of specialized professionals with extensive scientific knowledge and skills in the practices so that they can perform successfully in their working world. On this basis, professional performance has different manifestations and reflects a scope of interpretation, with an integrating vision in line with the social demands that impact the world of work. Therefore, an experience is presented to solve the insufficiencies presented by law students in professional training that limit their preparation for the solution of environmental problems. Hence, the novelty of the proposal lies in the scientific argumentation of environmental professional performance based on new relationships, from the technical-legal, environmental professional dimension and its pedagogical treatment from a social perspective.
