Abstract

The purpose of this article is to address theoretically the categories of lexical uses and sociolinguistic marks from the postulates of different sciences. The study is framed in the bibliographic search of both printed and digital sources and the criteria put forward by authors not only from Linguistics and Sociology but also with the interrelation provided by other related disciplines for a holistic view of such phenomena. Hence, among the methods used are analysis-synthesis and bibliographic review. In this sense, judgments emerge from the classics to the most contemporary trends in order to offer greater authenticity and novelty to the subject under investigation. From this perspective, the proposal broadens what is related to such controversial topics, as it presupposes delving into the nodes that unite them from the multidisciplinary point of view.
