The teacher's assertive communication with students in the teaching-learning process in lower secondary school

Abstract

This article was the result of the project Psychopedagogical training of professionals as agents and leaders for local development and of the research carried out in option to the degree of Licentiate in Pedagogy-Psychology. This was carried out in the Basic Secondary School Atanagildo Cajigal of the municipality of Gibara, context where it was found the need to carry out a study about the assertive communication of the teacher with his students, since it was significantly affected. The needs and potentialities presented by this educational reality were determined from the application of different methods from the theoretical level such as: analysis-synthesis, historical-logical, inductive-deductive and from the empirical level observation and interviews. The objective was formulated as follows: to elaborate an educational orientation workshop aimed at teachers to improve assertive communication with their students in the teaching-learning process of Basic Secondary School. As a result, there is an educational orientation workshop consisting of seven sessions of great value for psycho-pedagogues and directors who wish to enhance the assertive communication of teachers with their students.
