Didactic strategy for the development of competent readers in students of the Social Communication career

Abstract

This article presents a communicative didactic strategy of the reading content aimed at solving the deficiencies diagnosed in the reading development of the first and second year students of the Social Communication degree of the Universidad de Las Tunas. From a linguistic semiotic perspective, a system of didactic actions is implemented in four fundamental stages that favor the implementation of the reading content from the teaching and learning process of the Languages of Communication discipline. For it, diverse methods of the theoretical and empirical level were applied that favored the diagnosis of the current state of the domain of the reading content in teachers and students that favored the modeling and practical implementation of the strategy to give answer to the raised problem. The results achieved with the implementation of the strategy show its actuality and relevance in the present investigation.
