The preparation of public administration and business management cadres and reserves, in the Task Life

Abstract

The training and improvement of cadres and reserves from an environmental perspective is of utmost importance to achieve a successful professional performance. The "Life Task" indicates prioritizing actions to raise the perception of risk and increase the level of knowledge and the degree of participation of the entire population in confronting climate change. The inadequacies in the implementation of the Life Task gave rise to the present research, developed with the objective of designing a system of actions to direct the scientific-technological preparation of the cadres and their reserves in this direction. In the work, the results of the strategic analysis and the survey applied to cadres and reserves who are taking the Diplomas in Public Administration and Business Direction and Management of the University of Las Tunas are presented, where a low perception of the environmental problems faced by the current Cuban society is appreciated. Strategic actions are designed to develop education for climate change from the postgraduate level. This research contributes to a better understanding of the problem and helps to raise the culture of cadres and reserves to lead the implementation of the Task Life in their organizations.
