Abstract

Environmental education plays an important role in the training of professionals, since educating in environmental conservation is a professional problem and a social responsibility that must be assumed as part of their performance. Forming a responsible environmental behavior requires a change in the way of thinking and acting that allows assuming appropriate ways of acting, for the achievement of a harmonic relationship between man and nature. Dealing with this process, from its ethical conception, contributes to promote the development of a critical reflection and a behavior towards the environment, which not only contributes to the environmental education, but also to the formation of an environmental educator.
