Physical recreational activities to promote environmental physical recreation in the community of Las Lajitas

Abstract

The article contains a proposal of physical recreational activities for environmental physical recreation in children from 7 to 11 years old in the community Las Lajitas, District 59 of the San Antonio Popular Council of the Jobabo municipality, Las Tunas. In addition, it provides a set of psychological, physiological, sociological and pedagogical foundations on environmental education, the importance of its care to achieve sustainable development and the concern of researchers for the future of the planet, so that all of the above will influence the development of children's integral personality and their awareness of environmental protection to achieve a better world. As an objective, the application of physical recreational activities that favor environmental education is declared as an essential basis for the formation of moral values necessary for the future generation. The methods used are based on dialectical materialism and are divided into theoretical and empirical. The results achieved provide ways and modes of action for children to be capable of protecting, conserving, caring for and valuing the environment that surrounds them, in such a way that they generate changes in the community that contribute to the strengthening of environmental education in accordance with the environmental principles and culture demanded by today's Cuban society.
