System of actions from the socio-cultural promotion to strengthen the environmental culture in the communities of the Secondary School Máximo Gómez Báez, of Las Tunas

Abstract

The present article is based on the elaboration of a system of actions that allows to solve the main socio-cultural needs and environmental problems that the community under study has. In the research, approaches to the environmental culture are made from the scientific literature, focusing its attention on the theoretical aspects that serve as support to the investigation. With this, the possibility is offered of reaching a scientific result that sustains as contribution to elevate the knowledge and the environmental culture for the protection and conservation of the environment in this community, besides the proposal of a system of actions from the sociocultural promotion, with the purpose of elevating and propitiating a better knowledge on the topic. This is a core issue because of the need to protect the environment and above all to educate from an early age on how to care for it. The research is based on the Methodology of the Community Sociocultural Work of Dr. C. Rafaela Macías Reyes in which four fundamental axes are reflected to carry out the project memory-history, relation community-environment, relation community-institutions and sociocultural needs, axes that serve as guide for the preparation of effective and certain actions.
