Abstract

The accelerated progress of science and technology in the field of neurosurgery have marked the importance of the formation of medical scientificity as a professional value in the residents of this specialty, a core aspect in their training. With the use of the methods analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, documentary review, authors who approached this process from the psychological, sociological, philosophical and pedagogical were consulted, through which the theoretical foundations that sustain and serve as a reference were elaborated for its modeling.
