Professional vs. technical problem in the training of the education professional in the technical areas

Abstract

The training of education professionals in technical specialties requires comprehensive attention to all the processes that characterize it. This is given by the double intention of the curriculum, to be an educator, but with a base science whose contents respond to the technological processes that are developed in the productive and service environment. One of the fundamental categories on which the didactics of higher education is oriented is the professional problem and in the didactics of technical education it is the technical problem. How to solve this dichotomy is a problematic situation to be addressed from the background identified in the study, derived from the practical experience of the authors and the theoretical systematization carried out, from which the technical professional problem is proposed as a solution. This paper analyzes some of the functions it can play in the training and how it impacts on the training of the education professional in the technical areas.
