Abstract

The article refers to a procedure to be developed in educational centers by doctors and nurses of the Primary Health Care, in conjunction with educational institutions, related to a sexually transmitted disease, infection by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus / Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (HIV / AIDS) that affects a particularly vulnerable population group, adolescents and young people. It proposes an action plan to be applied in high schools, polytechnics, pre-university and other educational institutions where these are concentrated; in which the health institution, the school and the community participate. The results reflect the increase in the level of knowledge about this disease, its risk factors, ways of transmission and prevention.
