Abstract

This study deals the behavior of the writing skill in English on the different mayors that belong to the Humanity Faculty. Some specific bands and descriptors from the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) were taken into consideration to evaluate the test. The results of the test showed insufficiencies related to the English teaching-learning process and the role of students and teachers. Some methods were applied such as synthesis-analysis, induction-deduction, observation, interviews, surveys and analysis of the activity’s products. This work allowed the identification of the current problems of writing in English by the new students that have a negative effect on this ability’s development
