Capacity building for educational innovation in the Bachelor's Degree in Economics

Abstract

The Bachelor's Degree in Economics has the challenge of training a graduate capable of solving the problems that arise in the economic system with creativity. This phenomenon requires a reflective analysis of the term innovation in its relation to Higher Education, as well as to address essential elements of its general classification; in addition to reviewing the conceptualization of educational innovation and its foundations. Hence, the objective of this article is to offer a theoretical systematization of the concepts of educational innovation and its foundations. Methods and techniques such as bibliographic study, analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction were used in order to achieve the objective. The purpose of these reflections is to contribute to the strengthening of capacities for educational innovation in students from the teaching-learning process.
