Abstract

This article details teachers' perceptions of the conflicts or difficulties that students present in learning, as well as their conceptions of the current situation of education in Ecuador. The word crisis should be reserved in education for those situations in which an institution or system is unable to fulfill its goals or to respond to new goals that fall within its sphere of responsibility, to the extent that this implies a loss of legitimacy and leads to restructuring. However, the current emergency situation in the world has generated a crisis in several spheres of life and consequently in education as well. Education can also be defined as the process of socialization of individuals. When a person is educated, he or she assimilates and learns not only knowledge, but also everything previously mentioned. Today's education is standardized and linear, with no nuances and no agreement with a faded and unmotivated education.
