The purpose of this article is to offer some examples of how the teaching-learning process of the subject Biology in the agricultural career of the Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí University (ULEAM) can be approached, to create conditions, so that the students gradually become active and creative subjects in the solution of the most dissimilar problems that may later arise in their professional development. For the development of the same methods were used at the theoretical level, especially those that allowed to develop the foundations of the strategy in question.
