EDUCATIVE TECHNOLOGY: PRESENT-DAY PEDAGOGICAL TENDENCIES

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo caracterizar y analizar los rasgos esenciales de la Tecnología Educativa, como una de las tendencias pedagógicas contemporáneas; basadas en aspectos fundamentales como son: la relación profesor-alumno, la metodología empleada en enseñanza, la evaluación del aprendizaje y la repercusión social de esta corriente. Se efectuó una revisión de la literatura de las últimas décadas que permitió, además, establecer los aspectos positivos y limitaciones de la tendencia en cuestión.

ABSTRACT

The present article has as objective to characterize and to analyze the essential characteristics of the Educative Technology, like one of the contemporary pedagogical tendencies; based on fundamental aspects as they are: the relation professor-student, the methodology used in education, the evaluation of the learning and the social repercussion of this current. A revision of the Literature of the last decades took place that allowed, in addition, establishing the positive aspects and limitations of the tendency at issue.
