Abstract

The transformations in pre-university education respond to the need for students to appropriate knowledge, habits and skills that are essential in contemporary life, which require new forms of teaching that make possible the development of logical thinking. The article aims to present a strategy for the resolution of mono-hybrid problems in Genetics. Different methods and techniques were used, such as: analysis and synthesis, structural systemic, observation, surveys, interviews, pedagogical tests and statistics. The results achieved are related to the use of technical vocabulary to explain the theoretical aspects of mono-hybrid problem solving, the why of the operations to be executed and mastered, which contributes to the development of a responsible personal behavior towards individual and collective study, communication among students, interdisciplinary and methodological preparation of the teacher.
