Abstract

Today's society demands of professional universities increasingly capable of confronting the challenges of produced in the 21st century, the integration of the knowledge taught in classes with the new knowledge that is generated daily in the society, this work aims to determine what are the criteria that underlie the formation of research skills in students, and is concerned with theoretical contributions of researchers who have contributed to the subject of the investigative skills and the important part of his training. The results obtained allowed to see that they are very few students who have developed skills in production, knowledge management and research in his academic training, there is little knowledge about them, what It leads to a minimum participation of the students in the research process.
