Technique, its impact on open learning

Abstract

Learning depends on the person - environment relationship, therefore, man from his birth begins to appropriate that reality in a continuous process of learning, appropriation that occurs through knowledge. If we realize the man from birth is required a guide, address or any other factor that interprets their needs and in correspondence act to satisfy it. The teaching is developed so that the student learns, is subordinated to learning and there is a determination to achieve it. Carlos Álvarez de Zayas, expressed in his book Pedagogy as Science, that learning is the activity that develops the student to learn, to assimilate the subject of study, on the other hand the teaching concerns the activity that the teacher executes, however, The traditional teacher makes the student become an object of the teaching process by not allowing it to be inserted into the process as a subject of their own learning. In Ecuador there are areas where literacy has not yet been achieved for all its population in the use of information technology. This situation worries the community, so, in coordination with the computer career at the Technical University of Babahoyo, agreements are established to develop training in office automation and internet aimed at children, adolescents and adults, through the activity of links with the community.
