An integrative vision about the training dynamics of the Bachelor of Education in Pedagogy-Psychology at the Cuban university, from a holistic perspective

Abstract

The initial training process of the career professional Bachelor of Education. Pedagogy-Psychology requires understanding its particularities, given by the characteristics of the object of the profession, the functions and the mode of action of the professional, in correspondence with the demands of their performance in different contexts of action. In this sense, there is a demand to resolve the insufficiencies in the training process that limit the apprehension of professional processes in educational situations. As a response to this problem, the research was developed with the objective of presenting a pedagogical model of the dynamics of the professional training of the Pedagogy-Psychology career from a holistic perspective of said process. Theoretical methods are used: analytical-synthetic, historical-logical, holistic-configurational, and empirical: observation, survey, interview and socialization workshops, which allow demonstrating the relevance and feasibility of the proposed model. The results express the dialectic between the integration of professional contents, their contextualized application in educational situations, synthesized in the dynamics of professional processes.
