Prevention of diseases, occupational accidents and environmental damage in the business sector

Abstract

Human resources and their relationship with the environment are an essential key to the successful performance and operability of any organization. Their protection and integral safety in the productive activity is a mandatory task that must be provided by the management in charge of it, regardless of its nature. At the same time, to take care of the protection of the environment in its surroundings in what depends on its corporate purpose and mission, leading to the prevention of occupational diseases and accidents in a safe working environment, responsibility that attends the safety and health at work. The present article is developed with the objective of contributing to solve insufficiencies present in organizations on these issues. Among its results are, in addition to the theoretical foundations used, the proposed actions that respond to the most frequent insufficiencies of prevention and protection, and may be useful to business organizations, teachers, researchers and university students.
