Treatment and preservation of drinking water in the rational management of water resources in the Angolan university context.

Abstract

This research contains a theoretical foundation and the initial diagnosis carried out on 28 Angolan students in their third year of the Water Resources Engineering course at the Polytechnic High School of Bié. The results of the application of empirical methods such as: observation, survey, interview and pedagogical test, which made possible the determination of potentialities and insufficiencies in the treatment and conservation of drinking water, as well as the fulfillment of hygienic measures for the preservation of individual and collective health of the population where the community work is carried out, identified areas of greater risk and vulnerability, are collected. This contributes to the orientation by the collective of researchers and students so that people know the causes and consequences of irresponsible consumption of water unfit for human consumption.
