The work offers a theoretical study on the integration of the Marxism-Leninism discipline with the development of oratory in university students, given the need to respond to their formation in an integral sense. The fact that in pedagogical practice the study of this discipline is presented as independent subjects is essentially related to the nature of the contents associated with its constituent parts. However, Marxist theory constitutes a unique theoretical body where philosophical, economic and socio-political elements are intertwined, making it the central axis for the analysis of problems in the current context. This gives it value in the exercise of public speaking as a tool at the service of the speaker who enriches his wealth of knowledge, skills and values through a coherent discourse typical of the desired university student. The materialistic-dialectical conception of the world and the contents of the programs of the subjects assumed by the discipline in the students' formation process are taken as a basis. The paper addresses the theoretical anchors of the discipline and its contribution to the oratory that allows students to relate in various spheres of action to demonstrate the cognitive, communicative and professional domain.
