LA CREACIÓN DE BIBLIOTECAS DIGITALES EN LA UNIVERSIDAD
THE CREATION OF DIGITAL LIBRARIES IN UNIVERSITY
Resumen
El artículo se centra en la importancia que tiene la creación de bibliotecas digitales por estudiantes y profesores universitarios, las que constituyen un importante medio de enseñanza. Se exponen los antecedentes de su surgimiento, algunas definiciones, sus ventajas, desventajas, clasificaciones, entre otros aspectos, además de criterios valorativos del autor del artículo. Se propone el software que puede ser utilizado para la creación de las bibliotecas digitales y su funcionamiento en el momento de realizar una búsqueda de determinada materia, autor o título. Por la facilidad de localizar y acceder a la información constituye un valioso recurso que contribuye a mejorar el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje.
ABSTRACT
This article centers on the importance the creation of digital libraries accounts for university students and teachers, which constitute an important teaching aid. The antecedents are exposed, some definitions, its advantages, disadvantages, classifications, among other aspects, including the evaluative criteria of the author of the article. It is proposed a software that can be used in the creation of digital libraries and its functioning when seeking a subject, author or title. For the easiness to locate information, it constitutes a valuable resource that contributes to better up the teaching-learning process.
