THE COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE ON ENGLISH LANGUAGE OF THE STUDENTS OF INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING MEASUREMENT

Resumen

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo reflexionar en torno a la necesidad de perfeccionar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la asignatura Idioma Inglés en la carrera Ingeniería Industrial, desde la preparación didáctica del profesor en función de desarrollar la competencia comunicativa en los estudiantes. Ello responde a las exigencias del desarrollo científico-técnico actual de una concepción integral en la enseñanza del inglés a nivel universitario, con énfasis en la vinculación de su aprendizaje con la actividad profesional del futuro ingeniero industrial. Su alcance será una contribución a la Pedagogía y un impacto de calidad en la práctica del egresado que repercutirá en el progreso de la sociedad cubana actual.

ABSTRACT

The present article has, as objective, to think over the necessity of developing the teachinglearning process of the English language of students of Industrial Engineering measurement, from the didactic preparation of the teacher, to develop the communicative competence among them. This is related to the demands of the current scientific-technical development of an integral conception of the teaching of English, at the university level, making emphasis on the relation between learning the idiom and the professional activity of the future industrial engineer. In this sense a great contribution to the pedagogy will be make and an impact of quality in the practice of the graduated that would rebound in the progress of the present Cuban society.
