Research methods related to the study and critique of sources comprising analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction and historical-logical were also used, as well as interviews to professors who were trained as students and have a history lived in teaching during the historical stage. The text follows the logic of the unity of theory with practice, therefore, the main historical foundations of the theory are contextualized in relation to the didactic events of the discipline. In essence, the aim is to characterize the state of creativity of the actors in the teaching-learning process of History and Appreciation of the Arts, in order to arrive at its peculiarities at each stage.
