The formation of values in the Political Propaganda class

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the way in which in a Political Propaganda class values are created or reaffirmed in the students, in order to fulfill the purpose of graduating professionals of the Social Communication Career with an integral formation, so that when they face the dissimilar problems of production or service entities, they do it with independence and security in what they do. The research methods and techniques used were Observation, Historical Logic, Analysis and Synthesis, Induction and Deduction, and Bibliographic and Documentary Review. An exceptional moment for the teacher to positively influence the formation of the students is the encounter in the classroom, where the teacher imparts new knowledge and, at the same time, uses adequate methods with the purpose of contributing to the creation or reaffirmation of values. For this, the educator must become an example for his students, he must take care of his demeanor and appearance, the way he communicates, the mastery of the content of the subject, the respect for the disciples and the concern for solving issues that affect the group. The social task of graduating revolutionary students, lovers of social justice, internationalism, humanism, solidarity, patriotism and other values, with a high political-ideological consciousness, is fulfilled as a result of the content of this class, if the principle of educating through instruction is applied.
