EL LIDERAZGO DESDE LA EVALUACIÓN INSTITUCIONAL EN LA MEJORA DE LOS PROCESOS EDUCACIONALES
LEADESHIP BASED ON INSTITUTIONAL EVALUATION IN BETTERING UP THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESSES
Resumen
La calidad de los procesos educacionales es responsabilidad compartida por los centros formadores del personal docente: Universidades de Ciencias Pedagógicas (UCP), sus sedes municipales y las Direcciones Provinciales y Municipales de Educación, que en su conjunto son las encargadas de formar, orientar y controlar el desempeño docente de los maestros y profesores y sus directivos. Las UCP se enfrentan a la necesidad de potenciar el proceso de evaluación institucional, el cual tiene varias variables muy relacionadas con el desempeño docente del personal que gradúa y con la solución de los problemas que en esas instituciones se revelan desde la práctica diaria, sobre todo desde la necesidad de comprender la importancia de la actividad científica y la introducción de resultados para ello. Nada de esto sería posible si en ambos planos: el universitario y las instituciones educacionales no existieran docentes y directivos con alta capacidad de liderazgo.
ABSTRACT
The quality of the educational processes is a shared responsibility of the institutions in charge of the formation of the teaching staff (universities of pedagogical sciences and their municipal colleges) and the province and municipality board of education, which are in charge of forming, orienting, and controlling the teaching practice at school and professors and their managers. The universities of pedagogical sciences face the need of the process of institutional evaluation, which includes several variables related to the quality of the practice of those students who become into graduates and the solutions to problems revealed in the every-day practice, mainly from the need to understand the importance of scientific research and its introduction. But it would not be possible if in both spheres (university and educational institutions) there were not teachers and managers with a high level of leadership.
