LA SIGNIFICATIVIDAD DE LA INFORMACIÓN EN EL CONTEXTO DE LA FORMACIÓN DEL PROFESORADO DESDE LA PERSPECTIVA DE LA COMUNICACIÓN EDUCATIVA

THE INFORMATION SIGNIFICANCE IN TEACHERS FORMATION CONTEXT FROM EDUCATIVE COMMUNICATION PERSPECTIVE

Resumen

En este artículo se aborda uno de los elementos que debe tener en cuenta el profesor de las universidades de ciencias pedagógicas en términos de comunicación educativa, mediadora del proceso de formación inicial del profesional de la educación: la significatividad de la información. En él se enfatiza la necesidad de que la comunicación profesor-estudiantes se aleje de los patrones autoritarios que relegan el rol del estudiante al de receptor y reproductor acrítico de la información. Se analiza el valor de los intereses, las prioridades, el nivel cultural, los orígenes sociales y sobre todo el nivel de comprensión promedio existente en el grupo, referido al valor de los contenidos en su formación; en el empeño de que la comunicación que se establezca resulte suficientemente significativa como para que el estudiante se involucre en ella y sienta la necesidad de aplicar sus conocimientos en vínculos con sus sentimientos y superarlos como expresión de su crecimiento personal.

 ABSTRACT

This article deals with one of the elements that should be taken into account by the teachers who work in the pedagogical universities in terms of the educative communication, which mediates the professional initial formation process; the significant meaning of information. In it there is emphasis upon the need of having communication between students and teachers refrain from those authoritarian patterns which compel the students to assume the role of receptors and non-critical reproducers of information. With this purpose there are some reflections around the importance of taking into account their needs and the required correspondence with their world conception. There is also an analysis of the value of interests, priorities, cultural level, social origins and, above all, the contents of their formation, in the attempt to have the communication established become significant enough as to get the student involved and feeling the need to apply his knowledge and go beyond them as an expression of his personal growth.
