Abstract

The article presents an analysis of energy efficiency in buildings in Ecuador, so that a comparison can be made at the regional level. Among the aspects that are addressed are the energy optimization of the architectural design, the integration with the energy audits, the regulation implemented in favor of the improvement of the energy efficiency and the institutions that are closely related to the investigation of the energetic efficiency in the building.
