ENVIRONMENTAL ACOUSTICS EVALUATION IN CUMBRES DEL SOL URBANIZATION, GUAYAQUIL CITY
Resumen
En el presente trabajo se realiza un análisis sobre el nivel de contaminación por ruido que afecta a la población que habita la urbanización Cumbres del Sol ubicada en un terreno de uso mixto en Guayaquil. Las pruebas se realizaron para medir la presión sonora durante diferentes períodos del día considerando la influencia de patios de contenedores ubicados en los laterales del terreno. Los instrumentos para la recolección de datos mostraron una percepción negativa del 100% sobre las afectaciones que sufren los moradores. Los resultados reflejan un nivel de ruido superior a los valores permitidos. La importancia de considerar el ruido ambiente como parte del confort diario lleva a la necesidad de plantear soluciones para mitigar este impacto. Entre las propuestas se consideran barreras acústicas y uso de materiales aislantes. También se recomienda encontrar los mecanismos que permitan el cumplimiento de las normas y reglamentos establecidos en el Ecuador en aras de preservar la salud de la población afectada, pudiendo llegar hasta la pérdida total de la audición.
ABSTRACT
The current analysis is about the environmental noise pollution that affect the habitants of Cumbres de Sol neighborhood, located in an area of mixed land use in Guayaquil. The tests were realized to measure the sound pressure during different periods of the day, considering the yard container influence, ubicated in the side field. The instruments or the data recollection showed a totally negative perception about the affectations of the population. The results reflect a sound superior level in contrast with the one allows. The importance of the environmental noise within the daily comfort makes necessary the planning solutions for mitigating this impact. Among the proposals was considered the acoustic barriers and the use of insulating materials. Also, some recommendations concerning the mechanisms that allow the accomplishment of the rules and regulations established in Ecuador, for preserving the population health and avoid the total hearing loss.
