Exercises to promote the teaching-learning process of the geometry of space

Abstract

The great challenge of the teaching-learning process is to give the man of the 21st century the necessary preparation to face and continue the increasingly accelerated development of science and technology, to assume and challenge the challenges that will arise in the next hundred years. The Ministry of Education is immersed in the Third Improvement of Cuban Education. This research takes into account the potential of the contents in the teaching-learning process of Mathematics in pre-university education, which aims to develop exercises to promote the development of calculation skills in the content of the unit # 3 Geometry of space, in 12th grade students of the (IPU): Doris Manuel Martínez Mejías. The theoretical references that support the teaching-learning process of the Mathematics subject are addressed, the diagnosis of the current state of Mathematics learning in students is carried out, exercises are proposed to promote the teaching-learning process of the geometry of space and the assessment of the results achieved from the application of exercises in pedagogical practice; which allowed us to corroborate its effectiveness in the learning of Mathematics by students.
