Doctoral training strategy for the recruitment, follow-up and incorporation into doctoral programs

Abstract

The sustained increase in the training of PhDs, particularly in the internal faculty, with greater progress in the university faculties lagging behind in this indicator, has made it possible to achieve greater uniformity, as well as the participation of a greater number of PhDs by areas of knowledge according to the needs of the university's development. However, the progress achieved in this regard is still not sufficient. This is the basis for the objective of this article, based on the elaboration of a strategy for the training of doctors until the year 2030, at the university level as well as at the level of each authorized area, with priority given to the training of internal doctors, to increase the number of professionals entering doctoral programs in the different areas of knowledge. It includes actions that cover all academic and research areas of the university. Theoretical methods were used for its elaboration, such as: analysis-synthesis, bibliographic analysis, and practical methods, such as: the study of pedagogical products. The article evidences the result of a strategy as a guarantee for the continuous improvement of postgraduate education and the success of accreditation processes. Its use made possible the fulfillment of the study and the realization of the research.
