Abstract

Soil restoration and preservation is among the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out in the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Maintaining cover and disturbing as little as possible is necessary to avoid soil degradation, one of the environmental problems that causes a decrease in food production, soil and water pollution, poverty, among others. The objective of this article is to present the main implements used in soil preparation for agroecological tillage and affected soils that guarantee a sustainable local development based on environmental care and economic efficiency, as well as some results of tests and research, working characteristics and certain elements for the proper use and management of these implements. Some technical and working characteristics of types and brands of implements used in this type of tillage are described. In order to develop this work, theoretical and empirical methods and techniques were used to obtain information.
