News on the formation of aesthetic culture in the Socio-Cultural Management for Development measurement

Abstract

The work presented here aims to show how the formation of aesthetic culture is manifested through the cultural practices of young people who are studying for their degrees in Sociocultural Studies and Sociocultural Management for Development at the University of Granma.  It is conceived through the quantitative and qualitative methodological confluence, giving priority to the hermeneutic method and the anthropological approach.  The results are materialized in a characterization that shows the existing incongruence between the current matrices of sensibility of the students of the referred careers and the general purposes of their formation process. This study will contribute to the improvement of the process of integral, human and cultural formation of the professionals of this context in which is placed, significantly, the formation of the aesthetic culture.
