Methodology for the interpretation of the mathematical text from semantic keys

Abstract

The article "Methodology for the interpretation of mathematical text from semantic keys" is the result of a research carried out at the University of Machala, Ecuador, with the purpose of proposing improvement in the teaching-learning process of mathematics, during teacher training of the Basic Education career. Aspects such as the relevance of the theoretical-methodological bases, orientation of the objectives towards the interpretation of the mathematical text, the organization of the phases that comprise it, pertinence of the practical implications towards the interpretation of the mathematical text, the analysis of semantic keys in the mathematical text expressed in problems. For the evaluation of the results obtained in the research in relation to the methodology, the method of evaluation by experts was used. Then the Kendall nonparametric W test was performed. With a significance level of 0.05 for a reliability coefficient of 95%. It was concluded that there is sufficient empirical evidence to reject the null hypothesis, and to declare the existence of agreement among experts regarding the relevance and applicability of the proposal.
