Abstract

The following article deals with educational quality. In this context, effectiveness and efficiency are its two basic pillars. In this regard, it is one of the most used expressions currently in the field of education, as a point of reference that justifies any process of change or improvement plan. Hence, we live in a society whose main characteristic is change and the permanent transformation processes that occur. Therefore, the school is part of that society and has its reason for being in the service it provides to society. It is affected by the social, economic and cultural changes of the environment or environment in which it is located. Consequently, quality is not a static concept, it is a characteristic of things that indicates improvement, improvement, achievement of goals. On this basis, when talking about a quality educational program or system, it refers to one who has reached higher standards of development, in the philosophical, scientific, methodological or human. In line with the above, a systematization is presented that enables institutional strengthening, through the reinforcement of its autonomy, the professionalization of management and a system for verifying processes and results. These allow the determination of the competences and responsibilities of the different sectors of the educational community, the climate of study and coexistence in schools.
